Be patient with skeptics

Thomas is often called “the skeptical disciple.”  During this Easter season we will encountere all kinds of skeptics–some who even say, “I will never believe.”

Jon Bloom at DG guides us through Thomas’ story and urges us to “be patient and gracious with the skeptics in your life.”

So, go ahead, have a conversation with a skeptic this week and invite them to “come and see” what truth looks like this Sunday to a gospel-preaching, gospel-believing, and gospel-practicing church.

This is the title of Newsweek magazine’s cover story this week which contains a large contribution from editor Jon Meacham’s conversation with Dr. Albert Mohler who has written extensively on the culture shift underway in America.  You can read Dr. Mohler’s analysis of the article which also contains a link to the Newsweek article. If we want to be people who understand the times, I think reading articles like this one is helpful.
