Love his reference to a "schizophrenic worshiper like David"! If only we could remember these things when we come upon others, or even ourselves, experiencing paradoxical emotions as we walk the path in and out of the clouds of suffering and the heights of delight! It takes tons of determination to keep choosing life and service to others when you´d rather give in to the extreme fatigue of grief! It seems to be loud-spoken, thoughtless peeps who look down self-righteous noses at the injured and disheartened rather than doing what is needed by quietly praying while walking alongside and helping to carry the load. Rather than developing hard skinned toughness or, in defense, facing up to the ranting, it is probably better to walk away from the battle you cannot win and risk getting "arrows in the back"!

Good day! Just to clarify "Hell." There are three seperate locations in the word of God translated "Hell."

1. Hades:
              a. Exsists within the heart of the earth.
              b. A place of torment in flame until the judgment.
              d. Is Temorary until the resurrection of the Unjust.
              c. Filled with those who reject Christ

2. Tartaroo:
              a. Used once in II Peter 2:4 regarding the angels that
sinned when they took wives for themselves, the
result being giants and the corruption of mankind
due to what the angels taught to them, that being
sorcery, divination, dividing of roots and trees,
how to make weapons of war, etc.

3. Geenna:
              a. Final place of continual torment (not annihilation).
              b. Created for Satan and his angels.
              c. At the end of Christ's millennial kingdom, those in
Hades will be resurrected out and stand
before God at the great white throne
judgment and be cast in there. Rev. 20:11

Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this heartbreaking saga. I pray the Lord's grace will be upon you and your family as you endure through this painful trial. At times when our souls are lamenting we must cry out to God and rely on His wisdom, love, and power. He is too good to be cruel and too wise to make a mistake. May your cast your care upon the Lord and He will sustain you.

We had a list much like this one as our only daughter ( now 30) was growing up. She was always a joy to raise, obedient to her parents and fell in love with Jesus at a very young age. Strong and moral leadership before her peers, concluding her college career as student body president of a prestigious Christian university. Four months ago, she eloped and married an unbeliever; against the counsel and begging of me, her Dad, family and friends.
I have been in a continual state of mourning and grief ever since. . weeping even as I write this email. My heart is broken. I feel as though I have not only suffered the death of my child...but the suicide. Thoughts of her husband are extremely painful. I do not trust him, or now my daughter. Please pray that God will teach me how to forgive them.

I agree with him. Not sure what Jim thinks about this, though. I think even well intentioned young men tend to forget this important step in their desire to woo the young lady they have found so attractive. I have a couple of young men in mind to send this book to.
