The law in one command?

If you were to boil the whole law down to one command, what would you say? The answer may surprise you!
Galatians 5:14 reminds us of how important loving relationships are, “For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”” (Galatians 5:14, ESV). Wow! Is that how you would summarize the whole law? Most would say, “Wait, isn’t the first and most important command, “Love the Lord your God. . . .” But Paul is saying, “Love for my neighbor summarizes everything we have been called.” What’s up?
I think Paul is saying, “It is only when I love God enough that I will really love you properly. My problem is not that I don’t love you enough, my problem is that I don’t love God enough! Because I don’t love God enough, I don’t love you enough. When I am in love with God, I will love His purpose, plan and agenda and I want to be a part of what He is doing! When I love God, His love abides in me and I will love my brothers and sisters who I see!”
