Randy Alcorn offers three ideas. Here’s his synopsis
So how can we deal with worry?
1. Rehearse God’s past acts of faithfulness to you.
Recount how He provided for you in difficult times. Will He let you down now? Of course not!
Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits.
(Psalm 103: 1–2)
2. Count your blessings, not your burdens.
You’ll find you have much to be thankful for. Worry rarely takes root in a thankful heart.
3. Bring your worries to God in prayer.
